Design Week in Budapest

The event is in its third year and this year has even more participants. The exhibitions include the work of young and unknown artist as well as internationally acclaimed designers. The venues are varied from “proper” exhibition halls to small shops, but all entrances are free You can find more information (in Hungarian and English) by following the link at Design Week.

The exhibition “Slow Design” certainly stands out from many offering by sheer variety and creativity of exhibited art works. It concentrates on the usage of recycling material and the results are truly amazing and amusing.

 “Slow design” is shown at Erzsébet Square 13 in the building of the former central bus station, right near Deak Square Metro station and is opened from 12:00-20:00 until October 28.
