Strange things fascinate me and "green polar bears" in Tokyo Zoo is one of them. My imagination went overdrive and after seeing green polar bears all through the night I woke up with quite a story. Consider the possibilities.
Since green bears isn't a common site travel agencies can high up the prices – their advertisements should run: “Only in Tokyo! Once in a life time opportunity! Green bears! Hurry, hurry, the bears will not stay green forever!”
Long lines will queue in front of the zoo; some ruthless entrepreneurs will offer the tickets 1200 yen a piece compare to 600 yen at the booths. “Yes, it is more expensive, but do you really want to wait that long in line”, they ask the tourists. The flashers will start swarm nearby, “Green bears photos? Cheap, really cheap” Animal right activists with signs “Save the bears” will be marching in front of the entrance chanting:
I never saw the greenish bear
I never hope to see one
But I can tell you, anyhow,
I’d rather see than be one.
Media will go into frenzy.
Meanwhile the group of teenagers cooks their secret plan. They will add sleeping pills into bears’ dinner and in the cover of the night they break into the Zoo and ... bleach their fur with hydrogen peroxide 2.5, or perhaps they will use a special salt solution which proved to be successful in dealing with algae infected animal fur in 1979 in San Diego Zoo. They will not stop at that, for right measure they will clean the pool also.
Next morning pristine white bears will greet the crowd of disappointed press and tourists.

And how do you know that, in a Tokyo basement at this very moment, the "Polar Bear Liberation Front" isn't making these exact same plans ... hmm?
Yes, and they also make little cards to leave after the did will be done, which will say "Polar Bear Liberation Front - don't mess with bears!"
