On Weather

In the middle of the night we woke up to the mad wind violently throwing handfuls of hail into the windows. It sounded almost scary and again made me feel blessed that I was inside not outside, caught one on one with it somewhere on the road.
It seems like here the weather never can quite make up its mind. Like yesterday – it started with pouring rain in the early morning and became sunny and clear, with occasional fleeting showers, later in the day. In the afternoon just as I thought -mine what a pretty day - the clouds took over the sky and it started hailing. Then, as if tired of such effort, the weather threw a bright, smiley rainbow across the sky, which lasted about 10 minutes, and ended up the day with plain heavy rain for good measure.
